Earth Screw Foundations
Terrafix earth screws help decrease foundation cost, installation time, and environmental impact of ground mounted PV systems. Earth screws replace typical concrete piers and pylons, and have been widely employed in the world's largest PV markets with over 200MW of installations. Terrafix is the fast and cost effective solution to ground mounts in all known geologies, from loose soil to bedrock, sand, marsh, and slopes up to 30 degrees.
Racking
Our racking solution is robust and can be quickly adapted to suit various wind speeds and terrains. We provide project specific design to match the string layout and the local wind and snow conditions.
Terrafix Solarpark racking can be installed rapidly for various panel types and with variable height adjustments to accommodate varying terrain. Typical racking configuration is 2 panels in portrait orientation with 7 to 8 panels long. The support frames and fasteners are hot dipped galvanized. Base plates of the frames are bolted to earth screw foundations. Support rails are made of Aluminum and span up to 24 ft with 18 ft between the supports Individual racks are connected with inter-rack rails making continuous racks, thus reducing number of supports required.
